March 17, 2005 (1) Red Casket to Ottawa
On Wednesday March 16 the VOCO Red Casket visited Mr. McGuinty's Ottawa constituency office. As this is March Break, several younger protesters were able to come along. As VOCO representatives met with Mr. McGuinty's assistant, protesters outside the office waved at passing motorists, many of whom honked their approval.

(2) Old Grey Mayor Lies Again
At Tuesday's meeting, CoKL Council voted to disband the committee formed to reconsider the name of the municipality. The tie vote was broken by Mayor (Pinocchio) Kelly. From Mayor Kelly's election brochure: I would support changing the name from the City of Kawartha Lakes to a name more fitting our historical and geographical area. Public input would be a necessity"
